This is a my negative review of the Gearhead Works Tailhook Mod 2 brace that I got from Mas Defense that doesn't work and they won't take it back. I left a negative review at Mas Defense but I don't think they will post it because all the reviews they've allowed to be posted are 5 stars and unhelpful gushing about the price and construction quality (which is admittedly good).

Mas Defense Delivered Tailhook mod2 quickly, But it doesn't work 4 me & they refuse 2 take it back.So my low rating is 4 Mas Defense & the brace. It doesn't fit my forearm or shoulder allow me 2 achieve a sight picture.So I had 2 buy the adjustable cuff SBA3, The Tailhook hook seems 2B at least a couple inches 2 short 2 hook anywhere under my right forearm & also allow me 2 sight along the top of the weapon unless i crook my right wrist down all the way to an uncomfortable angle that would also be dangerous to my wrist when shooting .300 supersonic Blackout rounds out of a 7" barrel.This is true whether braced on forearm OR shouldered. In fact, shouldered, fuggedabout it. In order to obtain a sight picture with either brace, the butt has to be at the very top of my shoulder or above it, But Mas defense won't take it back because I installed and told them I did (but didn't shoot with it or take it outside even) so I have to sell it on Ebay I guess to get my money back. And IF I ever buy aNYthing from Mas Defense again, i will damn sure lie about installing it if I have to return it just in order to get decent customer service.
Another subject: Ignorant Reviewers showing how to use the SBA3 and braces like it with the strap and flexible buttpad like end WRONG:
so I 've seen Numerous "instructions on how to use these braces telling the reader that the end of the brace with the flexible hook&Loop strap around it goes beside the forearm and the strap around the forearm and the brace. When I received my SBA3 IMMEDIATELY REALIZED WITHOUT READING ANY INSTRUCTIONS that this is BULLSHIT!
Instead, still not reading the instructions you're supposed to stick your hand THROUGH the hole at the end and push through to grip grip the pistol grip of the AR, AK47 or whatever. That is OBVIOUS because the bottom of the rubber buttstock looking area with the ADJUSTABLE strap around it, IS SPLIT AT THE BOTTOM to be able to flare out around your forearm. nAYou only are supposed to strap BESIDE your forearm, rigid blade type braces with no flexible opening at the end in which to stick your hand.
Yet i've seen at least THREE erroneous reviews on this on the Web saying to also strap the flexible soft, split braces beside the forearm, which is for the cheap, rigid $20 braces, not the $100 ones like the SBA3.
