This is the negative feedback I just emailed in a response to a Jegs customer service rep who cancelled my order for me:
"thank you Mr. xxxx.
Please verify that my money has been refunded. Also note my unhappiness with the fact that my account was charged for an item that was out of stock and would not have been shipped for 30=45 days. The reason I am unhappy with this is because in every other backorder situation, every other online company I have ever dealt with did not charge me for the item until it was actually back in stock and being shipped and none of them EVER took 30-45 days.
Also no mention when I purchased was made about this being a drop ship item or it being out of stock. I also did not get an emailed order confirmation and had to get on the chat line and ask for one to be sent to me. Also the wait time on the chat and the phone is inordinately high to the point that it seems that jegs specializes in "wait" more than anything else.
So today I found the same fitment radiator in brass for more money at Jegg's rival Summit. I called them up to verify the radiator was in stock, which was answered with 0 hold time and I ordered over the phone in 5 minutes and my radiator will be here in 2-3 days the man said.
While on chat hold to cancel my order with Jegs I clicked the feedback tab to leave negative feedback along the lines of the information above and couldn't send it after I took the time to fill all the fields out properly. Like I said, it seems like the only thing Jegs is in the business of providing is "wait".
Needless to say, this was the first and list time I'll ever do business with Jegs. and this email is going in my blog right now."
