Amazon Prime Deliveries Not So Prime Anymore

The Amazon Prime membership has several aspects, but none more iconic IMO and used more than it's 1 and 2 day free delivery service.

I'm a longtime member because it's too good to pass up, but lately it seems that it's been declining in efficacy. I must say also that I use the other Prime services very little.

IMO (BTW, IMHO signifies that the writer is full of self importance because the humble people which possess that personality trait, which I feel is a positive one, don't wear it on their sleeve like that because they are humble people) and to my experience, though I haven't written anything down and analyzed it, now and over the last few months Amazon has been quietly, stealthily ratcheting down it vaunted Prime delivery service, likely because (according to one report) it costs Amazon $80 billion a year to subsidize the fPrime "free" delivery service, which is A LOT for a company that views it's employees organizing to form a union is the Apocalypse and it's employees are  worked so hard and fast that they have nervous breakdowns and have to carry around  bottles to piss in & God knows what to defecate in probably, IDK.

The report, from I Forget Where also said that the Prime Delivery subsidy comes ion large part from amazons onerous terms on it's third arty sellers. I  of those terms is that to sell on Amazon at a certain tier they have to offer Prime free shipping AND they cannot jack up the price of the good a penny to compensate for the loss on shipping. In fact, and I knew this all ready, the price of the good is dictated by Amazon and is often sold below cost once the free shipping is included.

And there are several other ways that Amazon gouges it's sellers that I forget, in order to keep the lowest prices and get them, mpt Amazon to subsidize the Prime free shipping to the tune of $80 billion a year while the US Government (you and I, the taxpayers) subsidizes Bezos lavish lifestyle when neither he nor his company pays any income taxes year in and year out and cries to Congress and gets awarded $10 billion runner up prize (what his loosing bid was) for losing the governments missle contract to SpaceX.

WHAT? Don't tell me you thought (like I did) that Prime free shipping is paid for by your annual membership or if you knew better, than that Amazon is footing the $80 billion annually out of the goodness of it's heart!

Anyway, to my point: it is lately my personal experience and opinion,as an Amazon Prime member who gets almost daily shipments to my house, that Amazon is watering down the service to save some of that $80 billion without telling anybody, probably not even the Amazon "partners" footing the bill for it.

My experience with the Prime Free Shipping lately is that very few of my shipments come the next day anymore, or the day after that or even the day after that even though when I ordered them, the order page said they would. the first time I noticed this was when a Prime "same day delivery" a couple months ago, CAME THREE DAYS LATER.I have also caught them delivering an item a day later than scheduled on my order page just to combine it with one that I had ordered weeks before that was due a day later than the one that was supposed to be delivered the day before without my permission. The rest of my experience with this is just in the back of my mind and a "feeling" if you will that I keep buying stuff that has 1 and 2 day deliveries on the item page that NEVER come in the specified time period anymore.

other than that, it seems that what is happening is that when I order something IT SAYS next day or 2 day delivery and then doesn't come and when I look opn the orders page cuz I'm wondering wtf the something is and was sure that it said next day delivery, I find that the date has been pushed off to correspond with the day it does get delivered, sometimes more than once.

And my best guess is that this is happening and NOBODY especially the MSM that depends upon Amazon advertisement will NEVER publicize it IF they find out about it or even know about it  and Bezos will get away with YET ANOTHER ripoff of the planet as will Musk, Gates and all the other New Age Robber Baron patrons of the United Coprorate States of America.

I've Experienced AMAZON FRAUD over the HOLIDAYS SHOPPING Season

I'm suspecting now that AMAZON  concocted  this scam especially for Xmas. I know it's too late for Xmas, but I'm sure they'll resurrect it next year, if not keep it going now. And of course when finally ought and called on it, they'll claim it is an accident that incidentally made them tons of money!

Over the holidays, Amazon has ordered  three items in my basket on three separate occasions that I had taken out and never ordered!

IDK if Amazon has stopped this fraud or not.

So if you've put things in your basket and have taken them out, but not all and ordered one of them, in a couple hours, check and make sure Amazon didn't secretly leave the removed item(s) in the basket and ordered it anyway, using your funds.

2 things I caught and cancelled, but an Angry Birds t-shirt going to a child I couldn't. Also, Amazon didn't ship the shirt for 2 days but they still didn't cancel it even though I caught it the night of the first day and asked for it to be cancelled. instead of cancelling the shirt, Amazon put on it "attempting to cancel" for 2 days and the mailed that they "couldn't cancel this item" on the third!

Other frauds Amazon has perpetrated right around the holidays, as a mater of fact,  did on my account was switch my payment source on several purchases to my Amazon card without my permission or knowledge instead of my still default payment source, my debit card ! This is supposed to happen per purchase only, because I've chosen the another payment source

instead Amazon kept putting purchases on my Amazon account without my knowledge or consent, which resulted in a late payment and fee because the card had been paid off and I no longer pay attention to it. I got my first email about it, no mail, when payment was late. I had them remove the fee.

The third and least BS that Amazon has perpetrated on my account was some time ago and for awhile: When returning something, I always choose "refund to original payment method" and they wouldn't for several months, instead, putting it on a gift card. I bitched various places FOR MONTHS before they stopped this practice. of course, like always, they were "sorry" and it wasn't " amazon's policy."

Blah blah blah! What company has ever perpetrated frauds on it's customers and then admitted it even when settling a court case about it!

I have A LOT of returns because I shop on a lot on Amazon. Why drive all the way to Walmart to buy the same cheap crap and have to turn right around and drive back to Walmart to take it back when I stay at home and experience the same unpleasable shopping experience and only package it rudimentarily and drop it off at the nearby UP Store, AIR?

I'm suspecting now that Amazon concocted  it's current and undoubtedly most profitable scam especially for Xmas and am not certain that they will end the fraudulent practice. After 3 times I am now certain that it is Amazon's fraudulent behavior and not my mistake.

It has happened occasionally in the passed, so I never was sure it wasn't me until now, because I'm an absent minded goof. This time as it happened in rapid succession EVERY TIME i put multiple items in my cart and took most back out, over the past 2 months.

Further explanation: l put things I'm shopping for in the basket so I won't lose them while continuing shopping and mostly so so I can compare the details side by side especially the shipping price and time (shipping cost is usually, but not always, 0, because I have Prime)
