this is how effing bad Google Search has become, I had to tweet about it!

 @Google search is SO FUBAR that I can't get a single answer to any question I ask, or even an appropriate response to something I am looking for to buy! 

(ust) 2 examples: #1 searching for a "1 3/4" ID rubber cap" I spent 1/2 hour rewording it to find ANY caps that size. I had to add "end" to the search even tho I mean INHERENT IN THE WORD "CAP" is that it's not a plug, or a hose or a clamp or any such shit my search returned!

#2 "what is the minimum age for a telephone to be considered an antique" which I asked a half dozen different ways & NEVER COULD get a single answer, which is something I'd asked in years past & received an answer 2

In fact, lately when it comes to shopping for a specific thing, google has gotten WORSE THAN @AMAZON and that is pretty damn bad! No longer can I leave Amazon search & go to @google to type & find say, "1/4" diameter wood dowel amazon" and get any better results on google

than the never-pertinent results I get on Amazon. It's also currently the same problem on @Ebay as well. So congratulations @google, you've finally rendered Google Search, the original product that #Alphabet was founded with, absolutely WORTHLESS& ditto @amazon & @Ebay searches

2 Things Discovered and Revealed here about Google

I've discovered two shortcomings about Google recently and today. The first one is just stupid and unnecessary and the second one is potentially a lawsuit of international consequences.

#1 my last blog posted today has 15 hits all ready! problem is, The hits are from all me going back and editing it! And after I get done editing this, it will get one more view! That's the stupid onethat's  like "web stats 101" for sophomores. Oh wait I remember another stupid one, the next font size up from this available for my blog is this size!

#2 the stupid thing needing international lawsuits lodges against it on behalf of international vendors, shops and retailers overseas is that Goolge's search returns for goods and merchandise to US customers EXCLUDES foreign results! Twice now I've failed to find any hits for foreign sources of the goods i was looking for until I opened and used search engines OTHER THAN GOOGLE. Google only returns US hits for the goods I search for! I think this is unconscionable, unethical and unfair to customers and vendors alike throughout the world.

So if you are  one of the many like I was that  blissfully and ignorantly believes that the internet is  free and open haven for equal opportunity, think again. Google rules it and Google has no sense of ethics, just a sense of profit. While I haven't yet figured out  what Google's profit angle is for this one, you can damn well bet that they have a big one. I would be delighted to hear that a handful of foreign governments catch on to it, sues them and closes Google down in their countries.
