auction site gunauction.com new user negative experiences

LIke all FAQ pages, gunauction.com's sucks because the questions I have are never covered with any of them.

But unique to gunbroker.com, There's only one unique way to get "support", which is by texting its "New support Desk", which apparently is never answered, at least they haven't  twice for me.

Now, One of the 4 firearms I had up for auction got a bid and the winner isn't responding.  So I started looking into getting a refund for the final valuation and find this unheard of (well except with cancelled airline tickets ) fraudulent policy :

"A Relist Credit is a credit issued to your account at GunAuction.com when the winning bidder did not complete the auction. Relist Credits are for use with future sales at GunAuction.com and Relist Credits ARE NOT credited back to your credit card under any circumstances."

1 small problemo with that airlinesque policy: just as  I'm never doing business with JetBlue ever again, Nor am I with gunauction.com

I just got a 1st response from the "new text based support center" after 3 tries with 3 different issues and ONLY AFTER I cursed them out. Then the anonymous person responding didn't answer all my questions. When I pointed out that he/she didn't, I got no further response.

Apparently this is 1` of the oldest online firearms auction sites dating back to 1998 by one account. I've seen several references to it formerly being "auctionarms.com"

Graphically, I think I like it because it still has the old school page layout of the 1990s a la Craig's List. It takes some getting used to after using wasteful (Iin terms of huge space on the each screen)n, needlessly changed and supposedly "improved" modern websites.

But i found everything I needed to start my first auction so my only issue really is with the fraudulent final valuation refund policy, which even though it has had many fraudulent practices over the years and been sued for most of them, Ebay never ever dared pulled such fraudulent crap as not issuing a refund for fees it charged for an sale that was never paid like gunauction.com (and airlines) does.

That fraud, the fact that it took me 3 times and cursing to get an inadequate response out of it's "Help Desk" and that I could never ever find any answers to on the FaQ page for the issues I was having ,all leave a bad taste in my mouth and no desire to do business on or with this site ever again.

cuz as they say, there's "plenty of fish in the sea" so it's no biggy to cut this one loose and catch another bigger, better one.

So I just got another reply from the "help desk" and the anonymous person said he/she is issuing a "$50 credit taht should more than cover" the final valuation fees.

I replied "a $50 credit rather than a reimbursement is worthless to somebody (me) who is never going to do business on this site with this inherently fraudulent policy ever again."

this gunacution.com unethical "credit" scheme  effectively is "gunauction.com has an unethical (because it's totally fake) fee credit scam instead of actual fee reimbursement that we collected from  unpaid auctions simply because we can, it's profitable for us  & not coincidentally, frankly, we don't give a rat's ass about our sellers after we've scammed money out of you, Duh!"

or in shorthand "it's just business!"
