Urgent ADVICE FOR BERNIE SANDERS

I just sent an email to Bernie's campaign which in which I said:

"My concern is that Bernie steps it up, takes it to Biden, drops the “Joe’s my friend” BS because he’s nobody’s friend except himself. Biden's  record and the way he speaks to Americans (on the campaign trail) proves it. Call Biden what he is and win this primary.

This is why: Sanders stands alone now against the entire machine that’s been wrecking the world for profit since the industrial revolution and he won’t accomplish s**t against it unless he becomes president. Then and Only then will he be able to MAYBE turn the environment, health care and education policies on their heads to start serving the public for a change. These things are also imperative to better cope with  the Covid19 crisis we face.

Because the REST of the Dems in the face of this crisis have proposed NOTHING to benefit working, poor and, middle class, that is to say, they support NONE of Bernie’s  proposals as a candidate, nor ones to help us through this in a meaningful way. However if he was winning the primary, He’D HAVE A LOT MORE POWER RIGHT NOW to help. And later after he trounced Trump...

So Sanders MUST take it to Biden, ASAP, in a way that forces the mass media to be all abuzz about his attack on Biden like they were in 2016 with Trump. And Biden has so much baggage that the mass media quashes, blacks out, now that this constituency that his WATCH corporate controlled media DON'T KNOW!

So I FIRMLY believe that if Bernie calls Biden out HARD FOR THE UNINDICTED CRIMINAL HE IS, for his serial plagiarism, lying, war mongering, racism , and 40 years of supporting and passing laws to favor corporations and multi-billionaires etc.

in short, if Sanders uses these very (truthful) names against Biden every chance he gets a mic in his face, then the mass media his supporters listen to would  broadcast it because it is controversial, inflammatory and they thrive on that (ratings) and unlike Biden's BS they pump out now It's THE TRUTH. Sanders just needs to play hardball, be a Pit Boss (fighter, for a change).

In short, Sanders HAS NOT employed sound tactics so far to overcome the media blackout. The thing is, it’s well known, how to do this, & (Sander's) staff has long pleaded with (Sanders) to do what I'm saying here, S(Sander's) has refused and as a result pretty much HAS Wasted HIS TIME AND OUR HOPES and LOST THIS.

And what have you (Sanders) lost, or betreayed? Nothing short of the FATE OF MANKIND.

So I ask Mr. Sanders this: is your imaginary, onesided friendship with the snake Joe Biden worth the Fate of MANKIND?

No IT ISN’T!!!

SO GET OFF YOUR Arse and f***ing take it to Biden dumba**"

Vote for me and I'll make America Great again!

It seems familiar. I know I've heard that somewhere before, hmmm let me think when...Oh yes I have it! THE LAST ELECTION. AND THE ONE BEFORE THAT, AND THE ONE BEFORE THAT.....

The remarkable thing is that some voters, propelled by their fears and prejudices (also fears) swallow it and vote for the candidate that employs that refrain.

The implication that the candidate wants to us to swallow is, of course, that until we elect the candidate saying this in the current election, America will be remain a weak-kneed,  simpering shell of a nation instead of the only remaining superpower left on earth; the #1 consumption engine in the world;  one of the top polluters in the world contributing to global warming and the associated environmental meltdown; with the most expensive and inaccessible health care system in the world and outrageously expensive "public" higher education at more than $200 per credit hour where I live,  NONE of which, this candidate brings up regarding his plan to "make America great again."

But as I sit here writing this I want to scream to the nation if only you will listen: THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES A NATION GREAT is how it takes care of and protects
citizens against real threats, not the ones made up by corporate America and it's minions (politicians) to scare us into following their agenda for profit and re-election.

So how does a truly great nation "take care" of its citizens? It's this simple: By providing laws, agencies and services that protect and safeguard and serve the greatest majority, running a real democracy which THRIVES on COMPROMISE between the two sides in the halls of government instead of avoiding it at all cost like they do in Washington these days.(For Chripes sakes, they remind me of the WWE up there!)

THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES A MODERN NATION great  is these things which this country for the most part now, in my estimation, LACKS:  affordable housing; decent paying jobs for everyone;  a welfare and health  system that is accessible to them, PLUS those who cannot work and take care of themselves; affordable, high quality education for our children, and the ability for everyone who works to put a reasonable amount away for our retirement.instead, we seen the steady rise in cost of aoll these things and more and the steady decline in quality, especially vital things like health care (by my observation, "the fight to find a cure for cancer" is just really an Industry like everything else) and the water we drink and the chemicals poisoning us in our homes and work places, (oh those crazy Californian's, they think everything is poison! don't then know that  that Corporate AMERICA has our backs and would NEVER sell us poisonous products!)

To achieve all these things, our jobs what we have left of them, need to preserved because for working people, our jobs are ours and our families survival and good paying ones are required in order to relieve us of enough stress to be able to think of other things like who to vote for in the next election.l.

Therefore none of us working people should vote for anything or anyone for any other reason but our families survival (our jobs). In other words, voting for the candidate that doesn't talk strongly about protecting our jobs (instead of abortion, gun control and a ground zero mosque, all the things they campaing on these days  that are not real threats to us) and how he/she plan to do that, and certainly not the one who promises to fight all attempts to in any way curb gun ownership ARE running on RED HERRING like "I'll make America Great Again."

PEOPLE  Gun rights got nothin' to do with your family's survival anymore.

In fact, why do I even need to inform  anyone that we are about 1 1/2 centuries past gun ownership
being a matter of survival for our families and therefore, the ability for candidates to gain high office using this as a platform, SHOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE, that is we are smart enough and adult enough to understand  that the candidate employing such false rhetoric  is SCRUPULOUSLY avoiding ANY REAL issues that actually affect us in our every day lives such as safeguarding our jobs, our health care, our retirement and our children's education.

Postscript: yes I own guns and yet I am not afraid for their survival! AFTER ALL, they have their VERY OWN Constitutional RIGHT to protect them! And if that doesn't the trick, they still have me behind them using them on any SOB that tries to take them! So, YAY! I got only one thing to worry about at election time, the only thing that should count to a family person when voting: WHICH CANDIDATE WILL BEST HELP my family continue to prosper (protect my job and make it better for me).

So who should we vote for in this presidential race? This is who: The candidate that  most strongly opposes the Trans Pacific Partnership, which is the greatest threat to jobs in the USA since NAFTA, in fact has been described as "NAFTA on Steroids". Why? Because no nation with superior wages and benefits has any business entering a free trade agreement with a nation like China that pays subsistence wages (like we did with MEXICO  with NAFTA).

So who is the point man employed to push TPP through Congress and  the public? Barack Obama. And who has he endorsed for this election? Hillary Clinton!

And also wasn't Clinton's husband the point man on NAFTA in the 90s? yes. So what has she said about TPP? Well I'd say that with the credentials I just spelled out, IT DOESN'T MATTER, she is definitely not the one, no matter WHAT SHE SAYS on the campaign trail, who is going to protect our jobs (our survival).

But just to  conclude the subject, Clinton has said TPP "needs to be strengthened to protect US jobs.". So like I said, she's for it and I want to ask "so how is that done, madam, when the countries  we are entering the agreement with pay a fraction of our wages to their employees?"

It isn't done just like it wasn't after her husband pushed NAFTA down our throats. So what's she up to? She selling lies from her corporate masters like her husband sold us with NAFTA.

So am I saying vote for Trump? Well,  Not exactly because Trump's opposition on TPP isn't inspiring either. All he's said is "it's bad for business." But what about me? What about it being "NAFTA ON STEROIDS" for the working class in the USA? Why hasn't Trump mentioned MY CLASS and it being bad for ME?

Frankly, where Trump is concerned, the answer to the last question really doesn't matter for me and shouldn't matter to any working, voting person because
I all ready have a hard time voting for a candidate that thinks I'm so damn stupid that I'll fall for his"vote for me and make America great again" Bullshit!

Trump makes  NO mention about worrying how the TPP will affect the majority of voters in this country (working class people). Certainly I know all ready  that the TPP will hurt SOME American businesses but not all of them, certainly not the ones that make themselves count with their money to buy our politicians.

Instead, TPP will hurt  the small businesses ran by people in or near in my economic class. Cuz you can bet that the TPP, like the World Bank is the dream child of the 1%ers who run our governments through our politicians and want everything for themselves and us all to be their slaves. But in a free society they can't actually shackle us like they want to, so it's more complex a feat for them to accomplish.

To do so, they have to get us to do the job ourselves by believing all the BS of the candidates they put up for election and vote for them and in my estimation, they've  DONE A PRETTY GOOD JOB OF it in this election, fielding candidates in both parties set and ready to enact their pet project for world domination, the TPP.

And how? breifly by honing this technique over the last few generations:  controlling the information and  excising out of it any truth about such things as teaching children what it truly takes to become a mature adult and substituting information about how to be a world class consumer while telling them  that "this is what you need to buy and how you need to act  to be an adult"

Of the candidate running for president, Only Bernie Sanders came out fully against TPP and has explained in detail why, it's a raw deal for the USA  all the way around. That Obama is the public point man for TPP now tells me he became our president for one reason only: he was bought and paid for and put there by the 1%ers for this task alone just as sure as Clinton was before him for NAFTA. But this is hindsight for me because I voted for both of those assholes twice each.

liberalsV. conservatives, two sides of the same coin.

First let me take it clear that this column is about organizations which self identify as "liberal or "conservative" such as the NRA and the ACLU and any individuals that wholly accepts and identifies with either organizations dogmatic & absolutist viewpoints. Secondly, I am focusing here on only 2 issues, and each of these organizations viewpoints on these issues because I believe no other organizations nor issues wield such influence, adhere to more dogmatic absolutism as these two issues and these two organizations. So basically I believe that these two organizations conduct and viewpoints on these two issues are poster children for what is wrong with each camp as well as their brands of conservatism and liberalism, both of which are totally morally and ethically bankrupt.

All I have to do then is right a few sentences about each and their extreme viewpoints on each issue to illustrate what is wrong and what is different from mainstream thought about each issue and then a statement in the end, one sentence as to what their real agenda is and why they adhere to these extreme, blatantly wrong, decidedly non-liberal positions.

The issues are of course gun control and abortion. First  gun control: Most of the gun toting NRA members a know, carry their manhood on their hips and that's why they are so vehement about there never being an restrictions against their deadly weapons, simply because it threatens their manhood. For NRA members who are women, likewise, in fact , gun control is a threat to her manhood as well because real women who like guns, don't have the  fragile adolescent-like male egos that most men retain throughout their lives. We have  have MORE important familial considerations, such as or children's health care and education about things OTHER THAN how to kill stuff efficiently with a .45. in other words, REAL MEN and REAL WOMEN are ARE NOT one issue voters like the NRA and it's members members and ACLU and it's members and followers are. Never mind that scores of completely innocent people in the USA nearly every month get gunned down and their civil right ABSOLUTELY violated by people that any sane person agrees should never have had access to a deadly weapon of any kind. We are talking about felons, mentally disturbed people and children who kill scores of people each year.

And of course the extreme solution of the ACLU is to ban all guns and that the constitution does not protect the right at all. As always, the truth is somewhere between these two tyrannical organizations, both of which appear within an hour at the site of the latest police shooting of a minority screaming that the true "victim" is the minority or the cop that shot him BEFORE ANY INVESTIGATION IS EVEN LAUNCHED into the incident and the press is only too happy to oblige both with out so much as a single actual fact among the reams of newsprint and video.

Now abortion: the extremist View of the ACLU and other "liberal" organizations is that if it ain't popped out of the vagina in 9 months a woman has the unquestionable right to end the life within even via late term abortions in which the fetus, now a real baby with a budding personality living inside the woman can be removed from the womb and executed at the woman's  request.

Likewise to the "conservatives", life starts when the sperm enters the ovum, that single cell is now a human being with the same conscious and right to life as you and I which simply isn't  true.

Here is what I believe how personhood should be defined:
Drs legally and medically certify a person's death is when there ceases to be any heart beat, lung activity AND most importantly brain function as measured by devices used for detecting brain activity. That's the legal and medical definition of death and therefore should be the legal and medical definition of human life, WHICH BEGINS AT THE END OF THE FIRST TRIMESTER, not at conception. To have one measurement of life and another of death is hypocritical, dogmatic and controlling and to say that saving lives life should give way to gun rights is equally so.

So what is going on with these two organizations: it's simple, it's a struggle for control over political agendas and as many people as possible in order for the leaders to satisfy one of humanity's inborn urges: control and power over others. In fact NEITHER view has anything to do With true liberalism or true conservatism because the true form of both PUTS PEOPLE"S LIVES AND WELL BEING FIRST and neither of these two views or these to organizations do that. A true liberal person like me recoils at the thought of ANYONE having the right to end the life of a beautiful newborn baby just by virtue of the fact that it's not liberated from the womb in time to be visually identified  & recognized as the new person that it is.

So both organizations and the extreme views they hold about both issues is morally unsupportable, neither one are what they claim to be and both are about lies, dogma and control over a political system that is all to happy to bow to their filthy never-ending thirst for power views for votes and power themselves.

Carson, Politicians, Hitler

Excerpt of an email to a friend just now:
"I think (Dr. Ben) Carson (Republican 2016 presidential) candidate is new. There is a gaggle of them and they are all #*&holes except him, he was talking eloquently, quietly, calmly and intelligently about the things wrong with the world that I talk about, the causes, people, our attitudes, in a way Obama never did, Obama being the best of the worst it turns out, still pompous but not as hateful sounding as the rest, especially the part where he always goes on about how great we are and how this is the best country, SOUNDING JUST LIKE HITLER. Carson didn't sound like that"

The thing is, Carson may seem different, reasonable, better on the surface, but under the skin they are all the same. They all have handlers that put them up to it, fund them, that they must kowtow to when they make it. You can't make a bid for the White House these days without hidden bosses, funneling millions in hidden contributions to you.
Like Obama, natural gas and the Trans Pacific Partnership. He's been pushing the lies of both, that natural gas is "clean" energy it is clean when burned, but upwards of 40% is leaked out of antiquated leaky pipes and by fracking, making it  just as dirty as coal. And the TPP by independent  analysts has been called "NAFTA on Steroids" and that it finally gives big corporations complete control of the governments worldwide.

Post script: the first paragraph above  above was my reaction to the first time I heard Carson in an interview. In it,  and he said some balanced, reasonable (almost unheard of from a politician these days) things that I liked about individual responsibility and politicians getting elected by fear mongering. but then I read more about him and found out that he embraces most of the thinly veiled assault agenda that the conservatives have been waging for years  on the poor and middle class. the only difference between these conservatives and the democrats is the Democrats outright lie and say they are for us whereas if you listen closely with an intelligent ear  to the thinly veiled racist& sexist speech of the average Republican, he's not lying, he's telling you exactly how he is, but you're not smart enough, and you have too many fears and prejudice buttons for him to push for you to possibly   understand what he's actually saying.

A Letter To My Beloved Daughter Caitlin about Your Uncle Fred

a letter to you, which is perhaps helpful in memory of
                      your Uncle Fred, b. Nov. 22, 1962, d. May 12, 2013.

We've all had anger issues to deal with because we knew him as a kind, gentle, strong, loving problem solver and we asked in anguish: "how could you do this to your children who are so young and still need you so much?"
At the service, the first thing his cousin Connie talked about was the twinkle (she too often has twinkle of the mischievous kind in her eyes) in his eye and his warm smile when anyone saw him. Yet, a former employer of Fred's and someone who held him in high esteem, Sue, said to me before Connie spoke "Sometimes I am so angry with Fred (for taking his life)."
I thought, "yes, we all are at times."
Thus we've struggled  with our emotions, from profound regret and sorrow to anger. But should we be angry at your uncle for his act?
After much thought and soul searching, My feeling is that I think not.
My reasoning is that in times of tragedy, we all go through alternating feelings of anger and anguish, which are normal components of the grieving process for humans no matter the cause of death. Albeit sometimes it is possible that people die and there is blame to lay on the deceased, but I don't think so in this case.
Yet still in the midst of my grief, I got angry and challenged him, "How could you (hurt so many people with this (seemingly) supremely selfish act after conducting yourself so selflessly for others during your life?"
Before answering that I would like to digress and say something long and deeply felt about your Uncle Freddy.
In life I often said this to him and others and then several more times after his death and at the service: "My brother is (was) the best man I've ever known in every way a man could possibly be a man. He was the best husband, father, brother, son, uncle, worker, friend I've every known. He was not only that but also my best friend."
So how could such a man, known and widely respected for his unwavering strength and kindness, undo it all and hurt so many with such an act? How could he rob so much potential from two small boys (the potential difference of what they could have become under his continued fatherly guidance that was taken away).
Was he somehow secretly just a mean, angry, jerk, trying to show somebody he ultimately was the one in control? There have been suicides for that reason. But usually people  take their own lives for another reason, the one I told you about: severe depression, a descent into complete hopelessness. When all hope dies, so does your reason for being, for breathing, yet, there you are, still alive, "but why?" you ask.
So which happened to Fred? We will never know for sure, but we still forlornly search  for rational reasons for it in places that rationality cannot be found. We think about what we knew of him, desperately wanting to reasonably assert with finality that "in this tragedy, he a victim like us." Still,  we get angry with him again.
Herein lies our answer to how we try to assimilate his action and how we should remember our beloved, brother, uncle, son, father, husband, new grandfather Fred. He was a beautiful, giving, loving, hard working, real man, one of the few among the best of us who've ever lived, who lived his life making ours better with his presence and he just couldn't bear the burden of all that anymore.

'It is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved
             (paraphrased).'
Alfred, Lord Tennyson, from "In Memoriam A.H.H"

Fred's good friend and former business associate, Scott, helped me today with my recurring anger, giving me this insight of the full suitcase (another metaphor for the moment it happened is "the straw that broke the camel's back"). I have expanded it to incorporate my knowledge of Fred and sharing it in the hopes that it helps you understand, my beloved daughter, like it has me (if you need it). It is intended to give you insight into what happened to Fred and why we should never be angry at him for the damage caused by the tragedy of his taking of his life.
Think of a life as a suitcase that you keep jamming clothing into. Eventually you have to take stuff out of it in order to put new stuff into it or it will burst. During his life, Fred didn't take stuff out of his suitcase. But why not? For instance, my suitcase (life) is not overstuffed.
I think it is because the difference between Fred and I is that Fred was truly a nice, good person, always smiling, friendly, gracious, warm, always ready to help, always giving, never taking from others, never, in effect, unpacking anything from his suitcase
There is a difference between simply having high moral standards and work ethic like I have and being a good person like Fred was. To be a truly  good person like your Uncle Fred one has to walk the high road ALL OF THE TIME, not just when it suits you. You must be one who is good in all ways, genuinely nice and thoughtful to and around others.

"Only The Good Die Young"--Billy Joel
"Chripes, I'll probably live to 115 then,"--Bobbi Skankanos

Along with his deeply caring nature, Fred had another trait, perhaps a flaw. To me, Fred was legendary in his refusal to burden others with his problems no matter how small. Indeed that is the only thing the man would ever lie about. "I feel fine," he's say, or "no I can get it myself, thank you anyway." That is the hallmark of a great person. They'll drop everything just to help you with your tiny problem, but you play hell helping them with anything large or small because they won't let you, they'll even tell white lies to keep from laying their burden on you
Fred lived his life taking all care of or always thinking of his family, me, grandma, his friends, youclients all the while ignoring his own needs, hiding, burying his human frailties deep inside his increasingly overstuffed life's suitcase.
Then, after 50 years of being selfless for others, The suitcase was full and neither he (because he'd been ignoring it all along, after all) nor anyone knew it until it was too late.
Typical of Fred is that if I was with Fred and he asked me to help him lift or load something (rare, he was always doing the work of 2 men without comment or request for help), the scenario was that I'd say "okay" and still be out there yammering away about something while he loaded whatever it was by himself! And he always did so without any comment. Whereas I, in his shoes,  (not to him) likely would have said at least sarcastically, "thanks for all the help, girlfriend."
That illustrates the difference between a truly good person and one like me who is more self centered, less mature with good moral values (him doing, me still talking) but more than occasional bad behavior. It bothers me when people say they will help and don't. It never did him, he just went ahead and did the task himself without comment or criticism.
He did the same with his entire life and the stress of living it. He "handled" it (not really he just ignored it, more about that in the next paragraph) himself and always refused to talk about it or burden others with his problems which he insisted he could handle and, perhaps, never realized or acknowledge that one day he would not be able to.
For example, a couple of weeks ago we came to my home late from work in his truck with something very heavy to unload at his house. Though he needed help unloading it, he would not ask and I knew he wouldn't ask so I did. He said "nah, I'll get it."  and I'm like "well are you leaving it in the back of the truck then?" and (not lying yet) he said, "I can unload it myself you don't need to go, thanks anyway."  Now, he has a bad shoulder and a numerous other sore spots and fatigues and God knows what else from doing stuff just as this. So I said, "well then I'm going to your house now and will meet you there to help unloaded it."
"No don't worry," he said, I'll just get a neighbor to help me, Tony (I just made this name up but he used one I can't remember) across the street."  Well, THEN I knew the darn fool was lying in order to not burden me with driving over and helping unload.  So catching him in the act, I feigned indignation, and said "OMG I caught you in a lie! I cannot believe you have the gall to blithely tell baldfaced lies to people merely to keep stop from helping you! It's 11 p.m! And don't think I don't know that even if it was 5 p.m. and Tony was in his front yard, that you still wouldn't ask for his help."
And when it came to his personal health and stress, he was just the same. Typical responses from him about his blood pressure, or a searing headache or whatever was "I got too much to do to (most often for others) worry about that," or I don't have the time to worry about it" or "I don't have the money (or health insurance) to go to the doctor." But for a family man, blowing off your health issues (diabetes, high blood pressure) and the lack of affordable coverage under the USA's euphemistically-labelled a health care system  which is in reality a Health Business System creates more stress. He always  pretended like he didn't worry about it, but he did and such things as not having affordable health care and needing it stuffs the suitcase even more with the stress and fear of being rendered not able to care for and provide for your family.
In the end then, his suitcase was so full of stuff about to burst at the seams from years of self neglect and shouldering the burdens of everyone around him and internalizing theirs and his, on May 12, 2013, he may have stuffed one more thing in his suitcase, something perhaps as seemingly inconsequential and weightless to us as a single button and his suitcase exploded at the seams.

GOVERNMENT WASTE, THE REAL STORY.

Most people don't realize that so-called "government waste" is a corporate handout. The fat-cat corporations and their government minions that run our government (military-industrial complex, big oil to name a few) have done a good job of convincing the average Joe over the years of this lie: that the famous $200 (or whatever) hammers and $400 toilet seats are the fault of the government, when in fact they've orchestrated the waste. His ilk have done a great job over the years brainwashing us to think he's on our side, but being the good politician,  he is Hell Bent on us paying all the taxes, all the bailouts (The Savings & Loan scandal in the 1980s that happened shortly after Reagan got the industry deregulated and the 2008 financial crisis that was reusulted because Congress refused to regulate and even passed a law banning regulation of the twisted financial scheme that led to the crisis) and him getting it by cutting or otherwise destroying all our "entitlements" (in the dictionary, "entitlement" is defined as something we are owed because we paid into it) and through the aforementioned government waste (government contracts and programs that nobody is watching) and war. The benefit of that waste always accrues to some corporation or rich individual that singed the contract, billed and took the money. So when some fat cat running for office claims he will cut waste in government, he's being disingenuous at best and likely a bald faced liar because he's likely had a hand in orchestrating the waste. And when he gripes about "entitlement" programs that are supposedly broke, that us ordinary people are abusing, because supposedly we are the lazy fat cats, he's only complaining because he's not getting all the tax dollars and payroll deductions that we've paid in!

National issues in a Nutshell

Post Script to blog post below:  LOL, now I've thought about it a bit more, I  realize that the thesis of my writing below buys into the lie that cuts in corporate taxes creates jobs. But this is just a popular myth propagated by our scurrilous politicians & their cohorts in the  "news" networks. My basic college education (in journalism, which is how I know how bad our news media is) tells  me that the idea is patently false that tax cuts on big business creates jobs. In fact, this is merely part of the the "rosey scenario" (described below) that politicians & the news media paint on behalf of their rich corporate bosses. Actually, the only thing that creates jobs in a capitalistic society is the balance between  supply and demand. Even my mother, who is a 1956 high school graduate, knows this. When demand outstrips supply, suppliers react by immediately raising the price of the goods or service and followed by increasing the supply if that's possible. At that point, efforts to increase the supply may include plans to expand infrastructure and/or hire more people, depending on the type of industry and the existing infrastructure. So logically, the only tax cut that will reliably spur job creation is tax cuts on consumers of goods and services. Then the consumers go to the marketplace, spend the tax return on a broad variety of goods and services, which in turn creates more general demand that may outstrip the supply of a broad range of services and goods, possibly leading to the creation of many more jobs over a broad range of industries to meet that demand. So the corporations do not need more tax cuts, consumers do.
 My original post:
How come politicians, neither Republicans, nor Democrats ever talk about tax cuts for the rich and corporations IF they've created new jobs that year?
Instead, both sides, at one time or another, talk about and hand out the tax cuts AS IF it's a conclusion that doing so creates U.S. jobs. However, a frequent guest on CNN today pointed out that 'if tax cuts in recent years for corporations creates jobs, then we'd be up to our wazoos in jobs by now'. What he didn't say, what neither the politicians nor the press ever point out in the same story about tax cuts and job creation, is that the jobs ARE created- but only overseas where labor is dirt cheap. Not only that, but the government hands out even more tax cuts to ship more jobs oversees.
The reason they do that is because the majority of our politicians in both parties are owned by the large corporations & industries & told "cut our taxes" no matter what. So our politicians real job is painting rosey pictures of their back room deals with the industries & corporations (intent on breaking the back of American workers for profit) public consumption. They are aided in that by the "news" networks (CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN,FOX, CNBC,MSNBC) which all acknowledge that their paychecks come from the very same corporate interests, but disingenuously & falsely claim that the accuracy & quality of their news reporting is not affected. So the bottom line is that when they (news networks, politicians, corporate mouthpieces all) talk about cutting taxes again for coporations & rich people, they always leave out the recent news that two thirds of the large U.S. corporations last year, which made healthy profits, did not pay any taxes at all!
And to add insult to injury, they talk about more tax cuts on these corporations (that don't pay taxes now & haven't created significant jobs in this country over the last 10 years)  as being a definitive job creating mechanism, implying that it is for U.S. citizens (if you move to China and work for 1 yen a day or more if you are a soldier and even much more if a contractor in one of our wars).
But we should listen closely to what they always leave out when painting this fantasy scenario: They leave out in what country and for whom the jobs are created, leaving us to assume it's for us (ahhhh, the fine science of political rosey picture painting)! So what is the chance that some day soon, our politicians pass tax cuts for the rich and powerful only IF they've already created jobs that year and not because "maybe" they will? They are law makers and can pass a law that gives out tax cuts to corporations that create jobs for Americans in America. But they never will as long as they can keep things the way they are handing over money to the rich while painting rosey scenarios about how they work for you and I and not Them.

Where Have All The Republicans Gone?

Why are there any Republicans left in political office?
Why hasn't this species died out? One would think that
aren't nearly enough fellow greedy, filthy rich, hateful,
selfish, working-class-hating  SOBs to vote for them! So
whose votes keep them in office? As I see it, the only
way they win office is by dividing& conquering, lying to,
bullsh!tting & otherwise conning the majority, poor &
working class people (whom they loath) to vote for them.
Surely the vast majority of working & poor people
understand what the Republicans are pulling & won't vote
for them, right? RIGHT?
I mean it is not like the Republicans hide it or don't
prove every chance they get that they hate the working
class (The vast majority of American citizens). It's not
like they don't blatantly assault the working class,
speaking against and  trying to undermine
or eliminate every single initiative that would help
anyone in any way who isn't filthy rich. It isn't like they
even bother to pretend to support (but Democrats do)
things such as your health care, Social Security, welfare,
Medicaid, Medicare, collective bargaining, safety
regulations, governmental inspection and oversight of
safety in the food, drug, financial and other sectors.
After all, it is their government (the United Corporate
States of America), not yours, so why spend their money
(tax dollars) on stuff for you, right?
They've been bought (the vast majority of our politicians)
and paid for fair and square! Now all they got to do
is get us(working stiffs)to keep voting for them (all Tea Party,
all Republicans, most Democrats).
So why should the ultra-rich's campaign contributions to the
politicians they bought (Democrats, Republican, Tea
Party candidates) do anything to benefit you (Tea Party
member, Democrat & Republican voters)? A majority of
Democrats are even more two faced. They lie, saying
they are for all the things that benefit you & I (the
Republicans call these entitlement programs), yet do
nothing but make excuses about why they didn't
give us meaningful healthcare reform even when they
had a majority of both houses!  Obama's  health care bill
(as everyone likes to call it), when passed, wasn't the
bill he proposed. Rather it was a version that Democrats
could all vote for: a big package of results from
extortions and bribes to fellow Democrats (not Republicans)
to get them to vote for it.
Case in point of how the Democrats just pretend to
be for us (United Corporate States of America citizens):
Obama was video taped in his campaign saying, that if
during his administration, there are any assaults on
collective bargaining (the cornerstone of unions
organizing the workplace to represent the interests of
working Americans) that he would "put on a pair of
comfortable shoes" and walk the picket line with them.
But as union officials and liberal pundits are repeatedly
pointing out, Obama has even said barely a word about
the fight for working class (most) Americans in Wisconsin
that is rapidly spreading to other (stupid voter) states
that had enough blathering poor idiots to vote in
Republican governors. Now in office, the governors are
making good on their backroom promises to their
secret ultra-powerful puppetmasters to break the back of
the unions in their states. I love it how they rail against
all our "entitlements" such as Social Security, collective
bargaining and Medicare but say nothing about the billions in
corporate entitlements that are handed out every year in the
form of tax breaks to ship jobs off shore, farm (Food
Conglomerate owned) subsidies, little-known laws
(we know about this one thanks to Obama
publicizing it in his campaign) that make Americans pay
more for drug prescriptions from our "American"
pharmaceutical companies than any other country.
There are similar cozy, little known (only the result of
them is known by me) anti-competitive, anti consumer laws
meant to benefit the entertainment, automotive, battery, cell
phone & printer ink industries, to name just a few, at the
expensed of the working class & consumers.
In addition, the systematic dismantling by
Republicans of our regulatory and inspection agencies is a big
example of  corporate handouts because corporations are able
to (like BP) save billions not spending money to follow safety
and environmental regulation. The cost to the world
is global recession, war & massive oil spills. Additional
costs that Americans bear for this is friends and family
members dying of lead poisoning (the wars), salmonella
& E-coli poisoning (from federal authorities lacking the
ability since a 2000 Supreme Court ruling to shut down
food processing plants that are in violation of health standards)
and death by FDA approved drugs because the Bush
administration has let all the drug companies self perform
clinical trials!
But wait! Then there is the record deficits and debt to
bail us out by, of all things, giving 100s of billions in government
money (our money) to the very scumbags that put us in the hole
in the first place. Harry Truman said "The only
place "trickledown" trickles to is their damned pockets."
Trickle up works though (every single day, day in day out
month in month out every time we check out at the cash
register, pay a bill). If we had given us the money to pay off our
mortgages and buy the foreign made cars (made by our
"American" car manufacturers, Chrysler, GM and Ford), all
that spending would have trickled up and fixed the
economy problem & tons of families would have owned a house
&a foreign car made by one of our own Big Three auto
manufacturers all free and clear. But they can't let that happen
because they've been diverting our attention and bleeding us dry,
getting fatter off the corporate-owned-government dole
(your tax dollars) for more than 200 years!
Oh but this isn't even the good part about the
bailouts! News reports were recently saying that they are
all paid back! Early reports about the repayments showed
the very same congressional members, who are now
harping on the deficit, scrambling to think up ways to
spend the money instead of applying it to the deficit. But
after a few news reports over a couple days, the press
quit following the story (a celebrity died or got a DUI
arrest). Now the very best part (in case you still don't
believe that this country was originally set up to stick it to
the working class for the benefit and further enrichment
of the non-working class): The debts were paid back out
of record profits made by the borrowers (Bank of
America, Chase, others) who borrowed next to zero-interest
short term loans from the government and then
lent it back to cover deficit spending at  much higher
interest rates! This isn't even against the law, rather it is
the law! That's how "our" government works and who it is
& has been working for over the past 230 some years!
So they are not about to start now letting us get our
hands on their pie (our tax dollars). They've been having sex
with our backsides while mesmerizing us with shiny baubles
and bullsh!t meant to take advantage of our preconceived
fears and prejudices (The NY Mosque "controversy" for
example) since a bunch of rich white guys decided a couple
hundred years ago that they didn't want to pay their taxes .
That's right, this all started in 1776 when our
"Founding Fathers" suckered a bunch of poor people
(average working class British colonial citizens, many
of our ancestors) to fight the war
using propaganda about "freedom" and "equality." But
then after we won independence "freedom" and
"equality" turned out to be just for the "Founding
Fathers" (mostly eloquent liars, in my estimation) and
others like them (or becoming like them) by virtue of
property ownership, being male and white. No
African-American slaves, women or the majority of white
guys who just fought the war needed apply for these
rights! Having accomplished that, to this day they (the
richest and most powerful of "us" that I want no part of)
are still up to the SOS, having  grudgingly only giving up
the rights they bandied about in 1776 in fits and jerks
under popular pressure (by union activism, the female
sufferage movement, the civil rights movements) over the
next 190 years.
Thus the Revolutionary War had the same motivation
as the wars in Afghanistan & Iraq: being nothing but elaborate,
expensive (profitable for them) income
shifting devices. The only difference between the wars is that the
revolution set laws and practices in motion whereby they could
eventually start wars like the current ones designed to use
working people and steal our resources, in the name of safety
and security (manipulating our fears for monetary & political gain.
Whatever happened to FDR's quote: "We have nothing to fear
but fear itself.") just like they did 125 years ago in the unsafe
factories where they paid us pennies a day to work in until unions
formed and literally physically fought them for decent living wages
and safe working environments.
Both the current wars and the working conditions 125
years ago that the unions formed to combat are examples of
concentrated economic and physical assaults on the American
Middle Class. It's just that today, we have better laws
(many not enforced) to protect us in the workplace (minimum wage
law, collective bargaining chief among them which all Republicans
constantly fight to dismantle). Not being able to dismantle the laws
the unions have gotten in place to protect us, like the time-and-half
for overtime and 40-hour work week, the Republicans have just
resorted (in concert with Democrats in Congress) to going along
with trumped-up excuses for supporting wars to help them continue
stealing everything for themselves that this nation has to offer.
It works ("your" government)  this way: our politics and laws
have been and are owned by and are only for the benefit of fat
cats who own big businesses (who unofficially own and run
"your" government) who want the rest of us to have
nothing. But they have to maintain a facade of civility
about it. It's not like they can just walk up to the U.S.
Treasury and take what they consider to be theirs
(everything). Rather, today, to pull that off, they have to
invent reams of bullsh!t to feed you about how they have
to start wars to "protect our (or obtain) freedom" to
justify it. How did we benefit from those wars? We
didn't. All we got was our brothers, sisters, husbands, wives
parents, cousins, uncles, aunts and friends getting killed in them
while the defense & oil industries (as well as many
others) got even filthier rich off them.
But I digress. I'm going back to answer the question
of how can there be enough predominantly working-class
voters to keep electing Republicans to office. I know
that they get elected again and again by spending billions
convincing, exploiting our fears and prejudices, poor stupid
working stiffs to vote like they tell us. But I ask, how is that
possible generation after generation? Why aren't the stupid
ones of us, who consistently vote against our own best interests,
dying out from accidents such as using electrical appliances
while taking a bath? It's obvious that these voters have no
more sense than not to go outside when it is raining, look up
in the sky with their mouths open in wonderment and
drown! Is it that as a species we've finally circumvented
Charles Darwin's law of "survival of the fittest?" Does
there need to be new U.S. law incorporating Darwin's
Law into the codes and statutes of our local, state and
federal governments that sets up a new enforcement agencies
charged with enforcing Darwin's Law? Should we empower
a cadre of elite Darwin's Law Enforcers to execute people who
are alive but shouldn't be (voting) according to Darwin's Law?
It really appears so to me. We've tried everything within the
Constitution (with no result, it only has gotten worse) to
thwart Congress from having it's back door wide open to
influence peddling for votes. At any time, it is lawful (in
fact their constitutional duty) for any congressman to tell
a lobbyist to "take a hike" but they never do because the
lobbyist's boss (their boss too) will see to it that they do
not get elected (with your votes) again.

How to vote or how not to vote. This is the question

In the last election were you confuse about who to vote for? Were you trying to weigh what everybody had to say about the candidates before making your decisions? If so, that was your worst mistake. Below is my sound, experienced advice for potential voters whether you are affiliated with the Tea Party , Dems, Reps, independents, progressives (whatever because none apply to what I have to say). Rather than being for voters with a specific party affiliation, this advice is for anybody who is intelligent enough to understand the merit of what I am saying & has enough regard for others to want to cast a vote for the common good of all.
Here is my advice: First and foremost: Don't listen to  anything  anybody has to say about any candidate. I say this because anything negative about any candidate is either coming from the opposition, whose job it is to make the candidate look bad or coming indirectly from them through your friends and colleagues with whom you discuss politics. Conversely, the same is true for anyone saying good things about the candidate! So don't listen to them either. Their job is to make the candidate look good and and they've influenced people who are trying to influence your decision at polling time.
Instead, listen to the candidates & your own perception of the candidates as you weigh how they behave and speak. Listen to the candidates every chance you get & to determine if they are addressing the issues that are important. Are they actually talking about substantive issues in a meaningful way or are they just talking a lot about nothing & repeating vague platitudes about ephemeral things like "the American Way" & "justice for all." Are they continuously bashing their opponent or do they seem to be masters of doublespeak? Or are they talking about their  plans to do the job if elected & do the seem sincere& honest? If you tune out all the BS, all the lies, all the news media commentary and opinions and let the candidates speak for themselves, it becomes easy to differentiate between the charlatans who just want the power & prestige & the candidates who have an altruistic motivation for seeking the office. But to cast a vote for the common good, your mind can't be polluted by the self-centered, racism & greed & ethnocentric hatred that they throw at Obama like he is Hitler, a nigger, a socialist etc. They hiss "Muslim"  about him, trying to control your vote by playing on your irrational fears about those thing. So along with my advice not to listen to anyone but the candidate, I will say that this only works if you've cleared your mind of all the irrational fears mentioned above. Because if you still harbor them at poll time, you're either a puppet casting the votes your puppet masters want you to cast, or you 're a selfish, self-centered SOB who cares for no one but yourself (in other words, you're an average American).
So, all you need to cast a good vote is to not be influenced by all the garbage spread about candidates & you need to quell your irrational fears so your choices can't be manipulated by others. The last thing is that you need only listen to the candidates themselves.  If you maintain an open mind and listen to only what the candidates say and nobody else, and look to them for speaking the truth & being, sincere & candid, I promise you that more often than not, you can reach a choice on your own that is yours and as good or better than anyone else's choice.  That's because, you know what? Most people let their minds get polluted by the enormous amount of pure horseshit that is thrown around in these campaigns due to two factors: their ignorance & their irrational fears that allow them to believe, for example that all Muslims are terrorists and Christianity is superior, being conveniently devoid of terrorism throughout it's entire history despite such events as the killings & bombing in the abortion industry by avowed Christians; the Oklahoma Courthouse Bombing by Timothy McVeigh; David Koresh and his cult; the years of Christian-on-Christian terrorism in Ireland, The Salem Witch Trials and the Spanish Inquisition to name just a few blemishes.
But if you've tuned out all the crap & have just listened to the candidates, come voting time, you're much more qualified than most people to cast a good vote. Don't listen to stuff about the candidate, listen to the candidate. Anybody saying things about the candidates cannot and should not be trusted because they either work for them or against them and are getting paid to either build the candidate up or tear him/her down.
This advice is not comprehensive and will not guide you through an entire ballot of obscure offices and unknown candidates for positions you didn't know existed, but at the very least it will help you to make your own decision on a few races that are important to you.

To my readers

My Bias: All institutions, forms of government work on paper, but none work in practice because then people, with their greed, avarice, sloth & general lack of any concept of meaningful ethics & penchant for letting others do their thinking & make their choices, have to be involved. So it is never the idea that is wrong or faulty, it's the people that are screwed up. recent major institutions that have failed: The Union of Soviet and Socialist Republics (1989-1991), Capitalism in the United States. yes that's Right, Capitalism failed in The United States but we won't admit it. The only reason we haven't been repossessed  is because we have a big army & we employed the same artful financial dodging practices to stave off total collapse that took us to the brink in the first place.
